The Launch of ‘Nothing’

Former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei launches new tech company and names it ‘Nothing’. Pei parted ways with OnePlus last year. As per Pei, the company’s vision will be to bridge the gap between people and technology to create a seamless digital future.

The company is based out of London. The new venture— Nothing, will be a futuristic company that will launch its first smart device in the first half of this year. Till date, Nothing has raised $7 million in seed financing from technology leaders such as Kunal Shah, Tony Fadell, Casey Neistat, Kevin Lin, Steve Huffman and Josh Buckley.

Regarding the unique name of the company, Carl said, “We believe that the best technology is beautiful. Invisible technology does not mean that the product will not be visible, but there will be something that will be unique. No further details have been shared about the category of smart product.
